One of the early signs of Spring arriving after long a Winter is the arrival of the Snowdrop, a delicate flower found on the forest floor. This photograph was taken in my local woodland during a Sunday morning stroll up to the local farm shop. I crouched down low on the damp forest ground and got the camera lens within 5cm of the flower head to produce this intimate portrait.
