Macro (close up) photographs of items found in nature is always one of my favourite types of photography. I’m always amazed by the extreme detail revealed in natural objects when you attach a macro lens to your camera, it often produces stunning images. This shot illustrates the textural detail of a teasel head, found near a reed bed in Swaddywell nature reserve in Autumn.
