It was almost Haloween when I spotted this ladybird crawling across the kitchen floor. I picked it up and placed it on one of the kid’s pumpkins.

I grabbed the camera, put on a macro lens and took this picture. I love the colour of the ladybird together with the pumpkin, it seems to make the white and black markings stand out even more.
